Employment Opportunity:
MA Sales Representative – Area: North of Boston
The Company is seeking a professional, hardworking, self-motivated and energetic sales representative to join their rapidly growing team. The Sales Representative is responsible for the increase of territory sales by developing existing customers and opening new on and off premise trade accounts. The Sales Rep is expected to visit existing customers regularly while also growing their client base through cold-calling. The Sales Rep is responsible to introduce new products, negotiate special product visibility, develop menu programming, conduct staff-training seminars, and regularly work in-store tastings. Sales Rep is also responsible to follow up on invoicing, deliveries, and collections.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience working in the wine industry as a wholesale sales representative with familiarity of both on and off premise accounts in RI.
• Knowledge of fine wines: preferably Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and South American.
• Goal oriented and self-motivated individual with meticulous attention to detail and high personal standards of performance
• Ability to adapt to market changes and pitch products accordingly
• Excellent customer service, time management, and organization skills
• Ability to make professional presentations using industry tools and terms
• Individuals must possess strong sales skills and excellent verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Ability to work some evenings
• Smartphone and computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Internet.
• Individual must have the physical ability to lift a case of wine.
• The sales representative must have the ability to attend regular sales meeting at the company’s main office in New Bedford, MA.
• Knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish language and culture is a plus.
