VOS Selections is hiring a full-time, experienced, hard-working sales representative for a nascent territory of accounts in Upstate New York, centered around Rochester and Buffalo and as far as Ithaca and Syracuse.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years experience in distribution (or a related field) with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas. They will have established strong relationships with on and off premise accounts. The position requires a self-motivated, organized, energetic, creative and ambitious person.

• Innovative and proactive sales experience, minimum 3 years
• Established relationships with restaurants and retail stores
• Strong business and interpersonal skills
• High level of product knowledge

• Passionate about the wine and spirits world

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF FULL TIME POSITION INCLUDE
• Forming relationships and building distribution in both on and off premise accounts
• Maintaining strong relationships with established customers, while growing business significantly
• Directing sales campaigns in existing and new accounts with Company products visiting 6-8 customers daily
• Facilitating product sales on selected items/brands within a pre-determined period, meeting monthly and yearly sales goals and objectives
• Working in collaboration with Company supplier partners (Work-Withs)
• Developing new accounts through cold-calling prospective new customers
• Attending monthly sales meetings, as well as educational seminars on new or existing products
• Responding within 24 hours on all communications within the company or with outside business sources
