Volio, an importer of fine wine from Italy, Spain, and France, has an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Overview: Maximize the sale of designated brands through effective market planning, selling, and marketing to achieve supplier objectives.
Focus on national chains and marketing program execution (Kroger, Target, Walmart, Total Wine & More, etc).
Contribute to development and execution of strategic annual marketing plans that address all aspects of the marketing mix including P&L’s, pricing, packaging, advertising, promotion, public relations, market research, and new product development.
Manage the budgets and execution of designated brands’ marketing and programming, including supplier billbacks.
Validate financial implications of marketing programs.
Evaluate and examine assigned brand products, inventory, prices and profitability on a routine basis and recommend/initiate the appropriate changes.
Manage overall brand health, product line extensions, production timelines & shipments/depletions in the marketplace.
Help manage outside agencies, including advertising, promotions, digital, public relations, if applicable.
Assist in rolling out tasting programs with demo agencies in regional chains and independent retailers.
Coordinate key trade events and supplier visits.
Work closely with entire marketing team to share best practices, content, and brand message to ensure brand continuity throughout all marketing materials.
Skills and abilities:
4 to 7+ years of brand or portfolio management experience.
2+ years wine/beverage industry experience. Focus or understanding of Italian, French, and Spanish wines preferred.
Experience with national chains (grocery, liquor, other CPG) preferred.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities, direct projects, and meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, including understanding of margins and pricing.
Language skills in Italian, French, and/or Spanish beneficial but not required.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word experience required. Beneficial but not required: Google Workspace, Asana.
Team-oriented individual who is comfortable working on a small team and wearing multiple hats.

The role can be either fully remote, or partially remote out of downtown Denver, Colorado.
Full time role
Compensation range: $70-90k. Compensation based on experience.
