Position Title: Cashier-Stocker

This is a full-time (40 Hour) or part-time position. If you are seeking a career in an off-premise retail Wine, Liquor and Beer establishment then this might be the place for you! This individual will have the ability to work weekend, opening and closing shifts. We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic person, interested in developing their career path to be an Assistant Buyer. Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility and, most importantly, accountability. Must be able to follow direction from supervisors.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide a high level of customer service to all customers
• Receive and stock inventory
• Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude at all times
• Understand customer needs in order to give beer, wine and spirits recommendations
• Restock and replenish the sales floor and beverage coolers with product and ensure all posted pricing is accurate
• Be able to effectively operate a POS terminal to process all customer transactions
• Continuously maintain cleanliness to keep the store presentable.

Required background and skills:

• Excellent customer service and strong ability to understand the customer need and provide recommendations
• Some experience working at a retail store stocking inventory helpful.
• Experience working with beer/wine/spirits preferred.
• At least 21 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain standing for long periods of time (4-7 hours)
• Must be able to lift and/or transport up to 35 pounds around the store
• Be able to work in walk in beer cooler environment.
