We aim to capture an ever-evolving snapshot of the world of wine, with referential producers defining their categories alongside young winemakers rethinking those categories altogether.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and energetic candidates to join our busy neighborhood wine store team as a Floor Associate.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Junior Wine Associate perform a variety of duties include:

Assist walk-in customers to navigate our wine and spirits selections
Picking and packing online orders at our Brooklyn Navy Yard warehouse
Maintain our shop and storage areas, ensuring they are clean and organized
Stocking shelves and merchandising inventory
Shifts for this role will be at both the Fulton Street wine shop and Brooklyn Navy Yard warehouse.

Requirements:

1-5 years of wine experience at a retail or hospitality environment
WSET Level 2 or Sommelier Certified
Weekends a must
Ability to work at both locations (Fulton Street wine shop & Brooklyn Navy Yard warehouse)
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule per the needs of the business
