M.S. Walker has been an Importer and Distributor of Fine Wines & Spirits since 1933, family-owned for nearly five generations, and known for SERVICE, INTEGRITY, and a WORLD-CLASS dynamic product portfolio.

Responsible for providing broad operational support to our sales and brand management teams in our New York and New Jersey markets. Point person on pricing, sales administration, compliance, office management and sales analytics. Managing a team of 2 while continuously looking at improving operational processes internally to ensure dependable operations of the company. This position will be a hybrid of working in the New Rochelle, NY office and remote working.


Pricing Oversight

Monthly pricing and profitability updates, analysis and reviews with Brand Management and Leadership
Price-posting file management and update with NY and NJ states
Communication of price changes to Sales Teams.
Monitoring Supplier billbacks and payments
Sales & Portfolio Administration

Run monthly goals and incentive program meetings with Brand Management: define and update goals, track funding commitments for billbacks, communicate goals to sales team
Allocation management in lockstep with Brand Management: set-up, communication and tracking
Reporting for Sales Management monthly meeting, provide reporting data, recap meeting and communicate action plan

Compliance Coordination:

Local contact of Corporate Compliance Manager
Coordinate with internal parties on item compliance, TTB, Registration, L.A., appointment letter COLAs, Solicitor’s permits
Maintain files, folders and calendar dates on time sensitive matters
Point person for NY and NJ State liquor authorities
Office Management & Administration

Management of a Sales Analyst and a Sales Administrator
Administer performance reviews of direct reports bi-annually
Oversee all office activity
Run monthly commission report, Manager goal payouts, blitz payouts, and organize monthly goal and commission payouts and communicate to HR for payment. Send out payment info & Comm. Reports, Incentive grid to individual Managers so they can communicate to Reps
Set weekly Operations agenda


Develop and run / assign ad hoc and recurrent reports: data pull from various sources, aggregation, presentation and communication
Assist with supplier presentations when needed
Participate in key operational process improvement projects.
