Established in 1980, Cabernet Corp. is a family-owned wine company representing a select few, family-owned, sustainably driven, wineries from Chile, Argentina, and Australia.

Position Summary

The Western Regional Sales Manager will oversee Cabernet Corp.’s portfolio and distributor relationships in their assigned geographical territory. The Sales Manager will manage distributors to meet and exceed business plan and performance objectives by creating, implementing, and executing strategic sales initiatives by channel of distribution. Trade responsibility includes independent, chain and other licensed on/off premise accounts on a regional and national basis.

General Responsibilities

The Western Regional Sales manager will: actively visit distributor markets, conduct sales meetings, and meet with key distributor management; create, implement, and execute strategic sales initiatives; manage distributor pricing; train and motivate distributor salespeople; forecast annual and monthly sales; and provide monthly reporting to executive personnel.


This position requires: residence in the San Francisco Bay Area; a bachelor’s degree (concentration in business preferred); experience working in the fine wine industry with multiple distributors; knowledge of distribution pricing strategies; ability to work a flexible schedule and travel 50% of the year; excellent computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), writing, organization and project management skills; ability to speak to large audiences; and a valid driver’s license.
