As eCommerce Marketing Manager, you will lead R\West research and manage the execution of: emerging e-commerce (Wine.com, Drizly, Reserve Bar, etc.); digital shopper marketing tactics (Ibotta, Quotient, News America, etc.); expand and manage footprint at retail chains digital shelves ( Total Wine, Binny’s, Specs, etc). This job requires working with trade marketing and digital teams.
As a Trade Development Manager, you will lead and support collaboration with National Accounts Trade Directors in the USA and Canada to support the execution of in store trade campaigns (education, training, displays, visibility)
Responsibilities include:
· Research and Development - keeping abreast of new developments in digital shopper marketing/e-commerce and how these can be used to reach and engage RIOJA’S core demographics.
· Project Development and Management – liaising directly with the internal marketing team and presenting plans (including budgets) for any advances or initiatives to improve the company’s online presence, pre-store/retail engagement and e-sales.
· Commercialization: Supporting a range of commercialization actions from the development of digital marketing strategy all the way to executional content development and key performance indicator (KPI) setting. Providing communication and selling materials to assist the sales team behind digital programming.
· Reporting: Monthly, Quarterly and annual client reporting
Specific Objectives for this role include:
Retail Programs: Develop a roadmap of digital shopper marketing programs to enhance client’s brands’ presence on retailer websites and through other channels to build brand awareness among their consumers, drive store foot traffic and aid in consumer conversion.
Build-out the digital component to effectively deliver 360o retail program
Research & negotiate (Rioja Region) pre-store, in-store and post-store digital/shopper marketing solutions (e.g., Ibotta, Quotient, News America, Pinterest, inMarket etc.)
Execute digital shopper marketing programs supporting key accounts
Develop comprehensive content and platform for retailers to access social media content
Measure & Evaluate program execution
Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Assist in continued development of company CRM protocol and process across the portfolio:
. Engage internal stakeholders to drive new CRM programs
a. Lead the management of database and improvements and use cases for CRM tool. Ensure company CRM implementation is optimized. Incorporate digital ecosystem and CRM in experiential programs
E-Commerce: Research & negotiate portfolio presence and partnerships (e.g., Drizly, Reserve Bar, Flaviar, Chicory, Channel Advisor, Uber Eats). Evaluate new potential partnerships over time to ensure continued accessibility/relevance of Rioja Region
Communication: Contribute relevant projects to e-blast and other digital communication for retailers /distributors
Test & Learn-Test, analyze and share successful digital programming with internal teams. Design programs to evaluate how to effectively build consumer/shopper engagement, basket size and impulse purchase.
Knowledge and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree
· 3-5 years of in store and digital shopper marketing, digital shopper/e-commerce experience
· Innovative, ability to work with a growth mindset, analytical, strong communication skills, cross department collaboration, fast-paced and results-oriented
· Experience managing agencies and working cross-functionally
· Pragmatic and eager to learn
