Job Objective: Responsible for directing Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, National Accts Mngr, and Brand Managers market activity in order to ensure that MS Walkers key yearly, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily priorities are achieved.


State-wide field work, both independently and in conjunction with other MS Walker personnel, is a primary function of the OP Director of Sales.
Ensure that quotas are managed and achieved on a monthly basis.
Organize and lead management team meetings and divisional sales meetings.
Analyze and identify obstacles to achieving critical goals as soon as those issues arise. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must.
Motivate, mentor, and evaluate personnel performance.
Develop and maintain, in conjunction with Senior VP Sales & VP Corporate Fine Wine Director, a sales structure that maximizes efficiencies and effectiveness.
Communicate consistently and effectively to drive cooperation and collaboration with Boston Wine Co. & Elevation in order to create additional sales opportunities.
Oversee the new construction account initiative to make sure opportunities are maximized.
Expectation is that OP Director of Sales spends 3 days/week on the road and 2 days/week in the office.
Knowledge/Skills Required:

Bachelor's Degree (5+ years) in Marketing, Business Management or related field
Minimum 10+ years of experience in wine & spirits sales
Minimum 10+ years of experience of personnel management
Proven track record of execution and achievement against specific goals/initiatives
Relationship building and selling skills a must
Must have a minimum 5-10+ years direct On Premise Channel/Account experience
