Description

Lucidity Wine Merchants is a fine artisanal wine importer and wholesaler, focused on low-intervention, eco-friendly wines made by authentic wine growers. Founded by two industry veterans, we are based in northern California and serve accounts throughout the State.

For this position we are looking for self-motivated, results-oriented professionals ready to apply their passion for wine and entrepreneurial spirit to establish and grow LWM business by opening new accounts and representing LWM exciting portfolio of artisanal wine growers.

Business Development Tasks:
-Establish a presence of LWM wines within key On and Off premise accounts
-Grow the business by opening new accounts and growing existing placements
-Plan and execute sales calls in order to present LWM portfolio
-Support LWM items sell-out at trade accounts by organizing in-store tastings
-Assist accounts by providing timely information on LWM Wines
-Keep accounts updated on promotions, inventory and pricing
-Assist at Trade Shows when and if needed

Requirements:
-At least 2-3 years of proven Sales Experience in the wine industry, at any level (retail, winery, import/wholesale)
-Good knowledge of major wine appellations and most important wine grapes (in particular: Italy, France, Austria)
-Good knowledge of the key aspects of winemaking
-Excellent writing and communication skills
-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google productivity tools (Word, Excel, Etc)
-Basic knowledge of web design/management
-Excellent organizational and planning skills
-Driving license and own means of transportation
