We are looking for an enthusiastic and hospitality-focused person to join our small restaurant and retail shop team as our Cellar Sommelier. This is a salaried position that is focused on wine service, wine retail shop and cellar admin duties, and also includes restaurant service.

Responsibilities include:
Leading staff wine education and weekly staff tastings
Fulfillment of online wine orders
Daily wine retail shop sales, stocking, and maintenance
Help with monthly cellar and retail shop inventories
Cellar and retail shop upkeep
Tasting with owners/purveyors and maintaining a tasting calendar
Participation in evening wait staff service
Compline's award-winning wine program has achieved a "Best of Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator and three stars from World of Fine Wine Awards. We have been named one of the "Top 100" wine restaurants in America by Wine Enthusiast.

We have a globe-spanning wine list of over 350 selections plus an additional 200 bottles in our retail shop, an evolving seasonal menu from Chef Jammir Gray, and plenty of opportunities to learn more about wine and food. Wine knowledge is a plus, but a genuine love for hospitality as well as a strong desire for professional growth is key.
