We are a retail wine shop looking to fill a data entry position. This person must be motivated, organized, reliable, and have a great attitude.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintains database by entering new products and updating existing products
- Research wines on sites such as Wine Searcher, and complete pricing grids
- Create purchase orders and invoices for new product orders and transfers
- Maintains customer database, including customer email list
- Create tasting sheets and store signage with wine descriptions and pricings
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential

Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, web browsers and email applications
- Basic Math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently
- Motivated and passionate about learning more about wines and their regions
- Team player who maintains good relationships with coworkers and customers
- Basic knowledge or desire to learn about wine, beer and spirits
- Flexible work schedule with the ability to work weekends/evenings is a must
