We are a small but rapidly growing wine importer that prides ourselves in our product. As with any growth comes additions and we are launching search for a well-versed and polished South-Central Sales Manager to cover Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
This position will work with our existing network of distributors maximizing and strengthening current relationships as well as potentially adding secondaries in qualifying states. We’re looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running with their focus, motivation and team player attitude. The individual that can work in a team environment, brainstorm with the best while exercising independent thinking, time management and deadline driven goals will be the perfect fit for us.
As with all small companies, this position will wear many hats. Product promotions, presentation creativity, and monthly/weekly reporting will all be part of your plate.
Requirements:
3 years proven success in South Central territory.
Strong wholesaler network relationships (current or prior) with crucial buying groups in the market. Upon application, please submit list in cover letter.
Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point and other standard software. Ability to put together professional presentations.
Immaculate communication talent.
Analytical thinking and presenting not limited to weekly reporting of market activity. Expectations will be to review current and historical data and compiling market strategy to execute.
Travel is required, must have valid driver’s license with no prior DUI’s.
Physical ability to lift a capacity of minimum 40 pounds without strain.
