Description

Position Description:

As a member of the Rock Town Brand Ambassador team, your main objective is to grow on and off premise sales in your assigned territory, create lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with accounts and distributors and grow Rock Town Distillery’s image and awareness in the assigned geography. With this highly interactive role, the right candidate will be great with people, extremely organized, proactive, hardworking, and have the desire to make a difference within the team.

Main Responsibilities:

Build and maintain long-term trusting relationships with off and on-premise accounts, as well as distributor partners
Aggressively pursue new on and off-premise distribution in your assigned region
Meet sales goals and points-of-distribution goals
Coordinate closely with distribution partners and their sales teams to ensure synergies
Sell drink menu placements, features into on premise accounts
Sell case stacks and merchandise placements in off premise accounts
Perform consumer promotions and tastings
Lead the development of relationships with key on-premise influencers
Present educational programs to bartenders, distributor partners, store salespeople and other members of the trade, promote the story of the Rock Town Distillery
Participate in market blitzes, ride-withs, and general sales meetings with distributors
Late night and weekend account visits and event attendance as needed
Effectively manage expenses

Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience selling alcoholic beverages to both on and off premise accounts
Strong oral and written communication skills
Passion for whiskey, cocktails and beverages in general
Desire to continuously learn and communicate
Excellent time management, organization and coordination skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs.
Strong knowledge of business; i.e. margins, profitability, costs, labor
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
Exceptional team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
Must be able to confidently speak in front of large groups; Can answer questions in a professional manner; Can speak loudly and clearly; Can fluctuate inflection and rate to engage audiences
Must be professional with the ability to approach others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Receives constructive criticism in a positive manner with a willingness to grow
Must be highly dependable and willing to follow instructions; Respond to management direction; Keep commitments
Must be able to travel 35 – 50% of the time
Ability to pass a background check
Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive to and from accounts continuously
Ability to work nights and weekends on occasion
Willingness to work more than 40 hours a week when needed
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must reside in Arkansas
Must have proof of Covid-19 vaccination
