We are a young, award-winning liquor store in Fishkill and we are seeking enthusiastic wine, spirits, cider or mead fans to join our team. We are co-owned by Peter Van Markwyk, (CIA alumni, class of 1987) and Paige Flori WSET3 Candidate and Certified Cider Professional.

We have been awarded "Best Cider Shop on the East Coast 2020" by the American Cider Association. We have been written up on June 8th, 2020 by Marketwatch Magazine (and picked up by Shanken News Daily) for our Ready-to-Drink selection, and we were awarded "Best of the Hudson Valley" in October 2020. We maintain a positive working relationship with over 100 suppliers, distributors, and local wine makers, distillers, cider makers and mead makers, all of whom can help provide helpful guidance in terms of tasting, purchasing and suggesting products to customers.

If you are interested in expanding your wine, spirits and hard cider knowledge with the opportunity to taste with the guidance of certified staff members, broaden your skills in food and wine pairing, costing, cellar management and sales, this is a good opportunity for you. We offer support for staff interested in gaining WSET, Sommelier, Cider and spirit certifications.

Requirements are:

-21 and over (for the ability to taste product)
-able to stand for 8 consecutive hours
-able to lift up to 35 pounds
-available for 15-25 hours a week including some weekends
-desire to further your wine/spirits education
-availability through the holiday season

To be considered for the assistant manager position, you must have experience or education in the wine and spirits industry and managerial experience. You may start as an associate and train for the position as we try to hire from within.

We operate 7 days per week, 10-9pm Monday through Saturday and 12-7pm Sundays.
