Girasole Imports is a boutique Bay Area based Italian wine importer and distributor started in 2014 that continues to expand our business after building a strong portfolio of sustainable, organic, and natural producers. We are seeking experienced, energetic and ambitious brokers to open new accounts and represent the portfolio with our support and training.

The portfolio consists of 100+ wines from over 25 producers and continues to grow in a thoughtful manner. Each producer has a unique story, history, and ties to the land and wine making techniques that they represent. Producers and wines have won numerous international awards such as Tre Bicchieri and they visit California to support our sales efforts.

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
• Previous experience in wine sales
• Be a self-starter and work independently
• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Italian wines and willingness for an on-going learning process about our producers, their wines, and stories.
• The ability to plan a ‘work-with’ in the market with our producers from Italy
• Dependable vehicle with current registration, valid California Driver’s License, proof of automobile insurance, and good driving record
• Ability to lift and carry a 40 lb. case of wine
• Italian language skills

Day to day responsibilities will include:
• Drive to develop and open new accounts
• Visit accounts daily and arrange appointments
• Facilitate focused tastings with customers
• Project enthusiasm about the portfolio and it's accompanying stories
