York Cellars is a boutique retail wine and spirits shop based in DUMBO, Brooklyn. We specialize in a curated selection of uncommon international and domestic wines, with an emphasis on natural and organic production, and small-to-mid-sized producers. + Are knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and love discovering new producers and regions
+ Have a firm grasp of wine pairing and winemaking fundamentals
+ Have a friendly, outgoing, customer-first demeanor
+ Are a good multitasker, who thrives in a fast-paced environment
+ Are a self-starter and familiar with point-of-sale and other systems
+ Enjoy tasting and learning about wines and spirits

RESPONSIBILITIES + REQUIREMENTS
+ Retail sales, assisting our community with selecting wines, and suggesting food pairings
+ Cashiering duties
+ Basic opening and closing retail duties
+ Assist team with COVID-related sanitization
+ Physically able to stock/re-stock shelves and lift cases of wine and spirits (40 lbs)
+ Occasional local deliveries (walking distance)

COMPENSATION
We offer competitive hourly pay, commensurate with wine experience.
