JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Digital Marketing Manager will support The Wine Group’s consumer-focused digital marketing efforts with a blend of creative and analytical abilities. Under the direction of the Digital Marketing Director, this position will be responsible for managing social media and executing campaigns for TWG brands across a variety of digital platforms, optimizing each campaign based on brand needs and a pre-determined set of KPIs.

This position is expected to be proactive in suggesting and implementing new campaign ideas, able to identify and address underperforming campaigns, and report campaign results and insights to brand teams.

The right candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising and a successful track record in building successful digital marketing campaigns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 Working with the Director, Digital Marketing, develop and execute digital marketing campaigns for various TWG brands. Campaigns may include:
o Google search, display and/or video (YouTube) ads
o Email/CRM
o Website content
o Social media ads
o Other platforms that help drive the brand message
 Develop and execute brands’ social media and content marketing efforts (including email and website content) to drive brand awareness, loyalty, and overall engagement
o Manage social media profiles for several TWG brands, including community management as appropriate
o Create and manage social media content calendars
o Work with cross-functional teams (brands, legal/compliance, designers, agencies, etc.) to develop necessary visual and written creative assets for digital marketing campaigns
o Execute paid social media advertising campaigns, mostly Facebook and Instagram
o Identify the latest trends and social media opportunities. Be proactive in recommending new ideas.
 Established KPIs with Brands in advance of all digital marketing efforts
 Analyze and report out campaign metrics with actionable insights
 Track and manage campaign budgets
 Stay up to date on digital marketing trends and new platforms
 Have a test and learn mindset and be proactive in proposing new or different tactics

QUALIFICATIONS

 Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or communications
 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with experience in both Social Media and analytics
 Excellent, grammatically correct writing skills and understanding of content strategy
 Experience using social media management tools/Facebook Business Manager
 Experience with Google Analytics and Google advertising platforms (including YouTube)
 Preferred candidate will possess extensive experience in creation of compelling brand content
 You must be self-motivated, flexible, and highly organized; you must be able to manage multiple projects at once
 Problem solving, ability to work independently and make decisions, accuracy/attention to detail
 Agency experience is a plus
 Experience with web publishing platforms (e.g. Word Press, Facebook, Instagram) is required.
 Excellent interpersonal skills a must
 Basic photo-editing/design skills
 Knowledge of Google Tag Manager is a plus
 A strong desire to learn the newest technologies and platforms in Digital Marketing
