POSITION: Banquet Beverage Manager

REPORTS TO: Beverage Manager, Director of Banquet Operations

JOB DUTIES:
- Read the weekly events pack to create daily assignments and weekly schedule based on business
- Upkeep assignments and schedule with changes via the daily change sheet
- Create daily paperwork for staff members
- Watch overtime management and weekly payroll totals vs monthly budget and goals
- Report issues to Beverage Manager
- Organize consumption sheets, chits, and cash bar sales daily
- Input bar bills accurately into Accubar and consumption sheets
- Hand in bills to Private Events and Activities every 48 hours
- Bar bills need to be accurately inputted into Accubar and the consumption sheets
- Upkeep accurate pricing and product details on the consumption sheets and count sheets
- Supervises set up and breakdown of all banquet bars
- Supervises bar backs during events to ensure they are anticipating all the needs of the bartenders
- Creates to do lists for downtime during events for bartenders and bar backs
- Constant presence on the floor during events to ensure Union League standards are being met
- Implements new and higher standard opportunities for growth of the department
- Coach and counsel staff as necessary.

- Praise good behavior when possible and promote a team environment
- Contributes to annual staff reviews to the Beverage Manager and Director of Banquets
- Attends Menu Meeting
- Creates a friendly and welcoming environment for all members, guests, and clients
- Works as a team with the Activities and Private Event teams for any special beverage requests for events
- Helps to create specialty cocktails, including ordering all necessary ingredients
- Organizes execution of specialty cocktails and donated products the night of the event
- Manages any donated products for events. Communicates starting and end counts to Managers
- Organizing incoming and outgoing donated products
- Works as a team with fellow Banquet Managers on events
- Strong communication skills required for all aspects of the position
- Assist with monthly beverage inventory
- Manage special projects for the Beverage Manager and 1862 Manager

- Ability to develop, establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures

MANDATORY WORK DAYS
- New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Fall Ball, Thanksgiving Day, and Family Christmas
