POSITION: Beverage Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Banquet Operations

JOB DUTIES:
- Manages beverage for all outlets at the League House
- Supports 1862 Manager and Sommelier with beverage and wine purchases for 1862
- Works as a team to assist outlet managers with beverage needs
- Active in creating and maintaining wine, beer, liquor, and soft drink menus for all outlets
- Maintains par levels for beverage all outlets
- Orders product as needed based on par levels and business.
- Oversees receiving, storage, and transferring of product throughout the building
- Audits orders, par levels, transfers and storage/organize of product as needed.
- Supervise Storeroom area for job tasks and cleanliness
- Create project and maintenance lists for team to complete in a timely fashion
- Work with Vendors to ensure all products needed for beverage service are current
- Mets with various beverage vendors to review current and potential products for League House
- Review potential new products with Director of Banquets
- Works in Accubar to monitor input of new and current products
- Runs Accubar reports to ensure costs are in line for the monthly budget
- Active in creating and maintaining wine, beer, liquor, and soft drink menus for all outlets
- Works with Director of Banquets to create yearly cost of beverage
- Works with Director of Banquets to create yearly budget list for equipment and supplies
- Purchases approved equipment and supplies on a monthly basis
- Work with Engineering to upkeep maintenance schedule and improve needs of equipment
- Manages Banquet Beverage staff on a daily basis
- Supervises schedules, overtime management, and payroll totals vs monthly budget and goals
- Constant presence on the floor during events to ensure Union League standards are being met
- Coach and counsel staff as necessary.

- Praise good behavior when possible and promote a team environment
- Contributes to annual staff reviews to the Director of Banquets
- Oversees weekly staff assignments and attends Menu Meeting
- Schedules and communicates monthly beverage inventory to all outlets
- Reviews inventory for inconsistencies and potential updates
- Submits inventory to CFO of the League House

- Ability to develop, establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures

MANDATORY WORK DAYS
- New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Fall Ball, Thanksgiving Day, and Family Christmas
