About us: Since 2003, our import company has been importing selected chateaux, domaines, and bodegas from the local farm lands of Europe’s choicest regions. In search of broader accessibility to rare and exquisite quality wines for the US, Caribbean, and South American markets, we’re expanding our business and workforce. We have been very successful in on premise (restaurant) markets and we are looking somebody to keep that trend and open off premise (retail and supermarket) markets.

We are looking for knowledgeable and passionate candidates for our National Sales Associate position covering California, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Arizona, NJ, and NY. While we’re focused on and emphasizing work in these states, successful candidates will show interest in helping us work in currently new markets/states. This position will require a deep understanding of French, Italian, and Spanish wine regions with a at least 3-5 years of experience in working in these markets. The job requires a moderate amount of travel, but it is important to note that this position’s work model will be a hybrid of both in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities include:
• Working directly with our distributor management to achieve case and distribution goals for both off and on-premise
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, and work to open new markets
• Distributor inventory analysis to ensure sufficient levels to achieve goals
• Marketing and expense budget management
• Minimum of three days per week spent working in the market calling on key accounts both with and without the distributor sales team
• Weekly success and monthly market reports

Work model will be a hybrid of remote and in-person work

• Experience in managing distributors and selling in US markets specifically,
o California
o Texas
o Florida
o Illinois
o Arizona
o New Jersey
o New York
• Experience in presenting portfolios
• Experience in opening new markets
• Knowledge of and experience in selling wines in French, Italian, and Spanish wine regions
o At least 5 years of experience in selling wine in aforementioned regions
• Bachelor's degree in Business management, Liberal Arts, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience in business-to-business sales
• Making calls to national vendors including but not limited to Costco, Walmart, & National Change

• Fluency in French (optional)

• Strong interpersonal relationship skills
• Self-motivated, ability to work in a dynamic team environment while working semi-remotely
• Proficient in problem-solving with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and PowerPoint
