Gnarly Vines is a vibrant, adored neighborhood wine and spirits shop in Fort Greene, Brooklyn that's been open for over 14 years. We are a small but growing company where your good performance could lead to growth opportunities.

We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented person to help out in our local, community-driven business. Our staff must be personable, presentable, team-focused, be able to communicate well and be motivated to provide the highest level of customer service possible.

Compensation & Perks:

• Starting Salary: $16-$20/hour, commensurate with experience
• Plus great tips on local deliveries

The right candidate will:

• Have an all hands on deck attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Have experience working with wine and/or formal study. WSET certification a plus!
• Be passionate and curious about wine and spirits, and pro-active in learning more
• Process in-store sales, phone and online orders
• Have a strong sense of hospitality and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Restock and maintain appearance of the store
• Help out with local deliveries on foot and/or using our custom pedal-assist cargo bicycle
• Have solid computer skills
• Contribute content for website, shelf talkers and social media
• Commit to at least 25hrs a week/ 3 to 5 shifts
• Be flexible as your schedule will include nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to lift 40 lbs up and down a flight of stairs
