The Role
A to Z Wineworks is seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented bilingual Spanish speaker to join our team as a part-time Hospitality Associate. welcoming and serving guests in our newly renovated REX HILL tasting spaces. The Hospitality Associate delivers exceptional guest experiences through a focus on customer service and education, orienting interactions with REX HILL wines while drawing on inspiration from the surrounding environment. Each Hospitality Associate focuses on assuring the safety and health of our guests and staff, following all cleaning and safety protocols, and wearing a mask throughout the course of their work. The successful Hospitality Associate combines effective communication and sales skills to build brand loyalty and achieve monthly Tasting Room sales and wine club goals. This position offers a great entry level opportunity that is located in a state-of-the-art tasting space.

The Candidate
The Hospitality team is essential in creating favorable impressions of REX HILL, through their interactions with guests in our newly renovated tasting spaces as well as at events and off-site pourings. The role requires a high level of curiosity and a desire to develop and share knowledge of fine wines and the winemaking process. A stellar Hospitality Associate is poised under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Presence of mind, an eye for details, and the ability to tailor compelling communication to a varied audience are all essential for this role. The successful candidate cares deeply about the customer experience and understands how to combine service with sales skills to achieve goals. The ideal Hospitality Associate is a team player that brings a healthy dose of good humor to a busy, demanding role.
Applicants must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have the ability to obtain a valid OLCC card, and must be able to work Saturday and Sunday, in addition to some weekday shifts. Must be able to fluently guide tastings and tours in English and Spanish. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry and rotate 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
