With offices in both France and the US, French Libation is a rapidly growing fine wine company. We specialize in the regionality of France, focusing on our growing portfolio of 45 different producers of hand-crafted wines, ciders and spirits. We are young dynamic team and strive to bring unique French producers to the fore front of the US wine market.

Summary:
We are actively searching for an experience Sales Manager to take over an existing 15 state territory in the Central region. This is a full-time position, focused on importer/wholesale management and key off premise account calls. We offer a competitive employment package that includes a yearly salary, annual bonus program, monthly expense allowance, healthcare and an annual trip to France.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all aspects of distributor management, achieving shipment and depletion plans, and market penetration in all channels of business
• Develop sales of our wine portfolios in each market with our distributors and key retailers
• Identify new accounts, develop territorial sales strategy for brand portfolio, diversification and penetration in each account
• Responsible for client education through effective staff training, seminars and developing promotional material
• Able to organize ride-with with sales management and visiting winemakers
• Relationship builder with key decision-makers and provide excellent customer service
• Procure and set up distributor sales meetings on a regular basis
• Provide feedback on market issues, opportunities, changes, gaps, challenges and competitive activity

Qualifications:
• Must have at least 5 years of wine industry sales experience, with a strong background in distributor management
• Possess a strong network of wholesale & retail contacts
• Demonstrate success in business development and increasing case volume
• Takes initiative, is reliable, is adaptable to work well independently and on a team
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, is self motivated, and energetic
• Strong knowledge and passion for wine
• General computer knowledge with a focus on Word, Excel, and Power Point required

Special consideration will be given to candidates with:

• Proficiency or fluency in French
