Exempt Position
General Hours – Monday – Friday 8:30a.m – 5:00 p.m. with flexibility to work evening and weekend hours;
limited travel
Position reports to: Director of Trade Development

Position summary
Responsible for expanding the eCommerce and digital footprint for the company, supplier partners and retail
customers. This position will manage all digital marketing and advertising initiatives and work hand-in-hand
with sales to drive eCommerce education and growth within their account universe.

Responsibilities of position include:
- Development, execution and evaluation of local and national brand programs, as it relates to eCommerce
initiatives (internal & supplier focused)
- Develop processes to expand retail opportunities
- Provide periodic recaps and ROI analysis for all programs developed
- Work with Sales to educate, plan and execute the eCommerce initiatives
- Identify areas of opportunities for revenue growth
- Educate key retailers to better understand and navigate the modern, online shopping landscape to maximize
customer engagement
- Provide retailers with a full-service, consultative approach to eCommerce solutions (digital assets; social
media; consumer engagement)
- Work with supplier partners on establishing monthly & quarterly digital assets (banner ads; targeted retail
activation; brand education materials; in-store applications)
- Prepares and deliver professional presentations to supplier partners; customers and Sales Management
- Develop new merchandising standards and overall content for eCommerce – virtual shelf standards; banner
ads; homepage product placements
- Maintains compliance with all state trade regulations and supplier marketing codes of conduct with regard to
program development, execution and management

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent training and work experience in marketing/sales with
minimum of 1-3 years experience directly related in Industry
• Strong background in eCommerce; digital marketing
• Strong PC experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products specifically with Excel and
PowerPoint. Ability to learn internal software packages (Diver, JDE, etc.)
• Effective analytical, presentation and organizational skills; attention to detail, ability to handle multiple
tasks/deadlines and deliver results on a timely basis, exercise independent judgment
• Professional level of interpersonal skills, listening, written and verbal communications
• Motivated, proactive, self-directed with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Current and valid CT Drivers License and Insurance coverage and ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing business, processes, technologies and environments
