Elite Brands of Colorado is seeking a new Customer Service Team member that has 1-3 years’ experience in the area of Accounts Payable as well as general accounting knowledge and experience. The primary role of this position will be to provide a full range of Accounts Payable support to all vendors and Elite’s purchasing staff, while still maintaining and providing for the larger service role this position plays within the Customer Service Team.

You will be supporting both Elite’s vendors as well as our internal resources - our employees - by providing professional, high quality customer service. There is no script, your interactions will be diverse so you’ll need to be able to adapt to the various tasks and styles accordingly, while creating and maintaining positive relationships.

Essential Duties:

Working closely with Elite’s purchasing staff – Brand Managers & Supply Chain Coordinators – ensure timely resolution to any purchase order, invoice or freight discrepancies.
Work with Warehouse staff to understand and resolve quantity discrepancies with incoming products.
Maintain timely vendor payments by monitoring due dates and deadlines, with consideration for discount opportunities, electronic payment schedules and check processing protocols.
Monthly processing of vendor bill backs, and marketing spend reporting.
Contact vendors directly to ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.
Reconcile credit card statements, post transactions.
Receive, verify and process employee expense reports
Daily reconciliation of bank accounts.
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting all invoices and account transactions.
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.
Monthly/Quarterly Account Reporting.
Assists with monthly Excise Tax Reporting
Check Scanning & Deposit Preparation
Maintains current and historical AP records/AP filing.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Along with the other members of the Customer Service Team, this position shares responsibility for being the first line of support for the multi-line phone system. Direct calls to appropriate personal or assist caller as needed.
Provide Accounts Receivable Override Codes to employees – following set process/protocol. Maintain comprehensive notes for override codes.
Provides ongoing support for special projects.
Other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education: College degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Bookkeeping experience preferred, one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
· Professional Skills: Ability to collaborate and work well with others in a fast paced team-focused environment. Professional attitude and a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

18 years of age or older.
Strong numeric ability and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Quickbooks preferred.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate processes and work well with various departments.
Must possess superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly and efficiently while remaining calm and professional.
Self-starter, highly motivated with a high productivity level.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license. U.S Citizenship or valid work permit issued by the U.S. Immigration.
