Boutique wine importer seeks a clever and convivial Sales guru. We specialize in eco-friendly imported wines as well as rare and collectible fine wines primarily sourced from countries where romance languages are spoken. Candidates must be passionate about good food, wine, and whiskey - with a proven track record as a key account manager, or similar in a previous role.

Our ideal specialist knows how to effectively communicate the stories of our producers and their wines to the buyers and staff of top retailers and chains. She is clearly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and has integrity as high as her Louboutins. She can easily develop new business and will deftly grow existing accounts without being tedious.

Specific qualifications and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • A sense of humor
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Have an opinion about Parker
  • Knowledge of the wine business is imperative
  • Previous sales or marketing experience is necessary
  • Stay cool after a few drinks
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Setup and participate in wine tastings, and other related events.
  • Can "ask for the order"
  • Ability to lift and carry a case of wine as well as clean a Zalto wine glass without breakage.

Compensation is what you negotiate.
