Competitive Salary based on Experience

Daily Responsibilities:

Accurately operate a computerized point of sale system
Accurately count and balance cash drawers, as required
Make self fully aware of merchandise sold, including varieties, pricing and location
Be fully aware of sales and promotions offered
Counsel customers on products
Receive merchandise delivery and stock merchandise throughout the store, including the cooler
Perform store inventory count
Ensure compliance with Colorado liquor laws
Cleaning store premises
Deliver on-line orders per store delivery policy
Working Environment:

Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends including Sundays, holidays and varying work schedules.
Business hours: M-Th 9 AM to 9 PM, Fri & Sat 9 AM to 10 PM, Sun 9 AM to 8 PM. Holiday hours may vary
Occasional overtime may be required. Overtime will be compensated per state laws
There is a potential for exposure to hazardous chemicals, broken glass, slippery surfaces, dust, cold temperatures, and allergy irritants
This position will require heavy lifting, frequent and repetitive use of arms and fingers; repetitive lifting & grasping, and standing for long periods of time
Staff will receive employee discounts on merchandise that is not on sale
Qualifications Required:

Able to interact with the customers in an extremely friendly manner
Previous liquor store experience and knowledge of wines is a plus!
Candidates will be subject to Colorado Bureau of Investigations background checks Other Requirements:
Must be professional, punctual, well dressed, courteous to customers and fellow staff/management
Must adhere to a drug and alcohol-free environment during business hours
Prevent and avoid merchandise misuse; report the same to management when observed
Must be detail oriented, quick to act and be thorough in expected work activities
Communicate in advance of any scheduling conflicts, as best as possible, generally 2 weeks' notice
Must have an aesthetic sense and desire to keep store organized and clean at all times
