Sales Associate PT for Wine Shop

Seeking Part Time Sales Associate to join our team. We are a boutique wine shop with well curated wines and liquors located in Kensington, Brooklyn.
Looking for a knowledgeable, organized, and trustworthy person to join us part-time, possible extension to full-time. Compensation is hourly and in proportionate with experience.

Our Sales Associates wear many hats while at the shop. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Greeting and assisting customers utilizing our tenets of hospitality and service
• Stocking shelves
• Packing and occasional delivery of Neighborhood delivery orders
• Maintain the sales floor and Point-of-Sale (tidy, organized, clean, etc)
• Answer phone and refer customers as needed
• Transact sales

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will posses the following skills, abilities, and qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of wines, major regions, and spirits
• Ability to work weekends
• Experience in restaurants, wine retail, selling
• Warm and Professional
• Forward thinking and visual
• Ability to carry up to 40 lbs
